One semester PE or Health Elective Credit | Grades 9–12 | Online, Self-Paced + Asynchronous with Embedded Coaching (Credit recovery version available)
EmpowerU is a new offering from IVSA that is a supplemental online course designed for students who are looking to earn an IBSE PE or Health credit. Fully aligned with ISBE standards, all students can earn credit while building resilience. This flexible course can specifically help students who feel anxious in PE class or face non-academic barriers to success.
Through this flexible, coach-supported program, students can take one of these courses:
- Earn a full semester of PE/Health credit (0.5)
- Recover credit for a failed PE/Health course
- Recover credit for a failed ELA course
