Welcome! EmpowerU Educator PD is a professional development course that will help you be a better administrator and educator while better supporting your students mental health needs. At the same time, you'll focus on supporting your own mental health and resilience. 

MREA has partnered with EmpowerU to provide this online, on-demand professional development program to teach you social-emotional skills that will benefit yourself, your staff, and your students.  

You'll invest a few hours a week of your time, and an EmpowerU coach will provide personalized feedback throughout the program to help you apply the concepts to your personal goals.

By the end of the course, you'll be able to apply these skills to help build your resilience, coping and purpose.  

This personalized learning course will take approximately 12 hours to complete and may be available for license renewal credits. It is being offered free of charge by MREA as a part of your district's membership.
